Overtaken Trains

The journeys and prices raileasy.co.uk display are for the fastest, most direct services. Most people want to get to their destination as quickly as possible. However, if journey time is of no concern to you, please check prices for overtaken trains. You can do this by clicking on the link on the right hand side of the fares screen.
A good example of this is trains to Heathrow, please check our “Airport” section for more details.

wow i dont know what this means, please explain further
It would be more logical to refer to these as "slower" trains. They aren't always overtaken by faster trains and could be different routes, for example, St Pancras - Manchester via Nottingham, instead of direct from Euston.
Are the fares cheaper for these slower, 'overtaken' trains?
